Aims:

1. To introduce classical and contemporary music to new audiences in non-traditional venues.

2. To ensure the future of audiences for classical and contemporary music events so that the traditions of the great composers can be passed on to a new generation as well as providing a platform for new composers to premiere their works.

Chimera Productions was created by Will Dutta whilst a student at Trinity College of Music and was founded from a desire to encourage younger audiences to listen to classical music by challenging the image and stigma attached to it but without sacrificing the artistry. Furthermore, in an era when the larger music corporations sponsor new music as a means to create quick profits and not actually develop the art through talented, young composers, Chimera Productions hopes to provide a platform so that it is the music that profits and not the organisation behind it.
