Annual Conference and Awards Dinner

Pinewood Studios
Objective:To deliver a one-day inspirational, interactive event experience and celebratory Awards evening for an International Airline client
The brief was to come up with a fun, engaging and interactive event experience that embodied the corporate strapline ‘personality allowed’ for 120 European based cabin crew and head office staff.
The chosen venue was Heatherden Hall on the Pinewood Studios estate and with such a location there could really be only one theme: the movies.
The day started with a lesson in sword-fighting overseen by a champion medal-winning fencer and film stunt coordinator before settling into the day’s more formal business presentations. These sessions were kept up-beat and engaging with the inclusion of specially recorded interviews of ‘personalities’ such as Fearne Cotton, Michael Crawford and the Pussycat Dolls discussing their in-flight experiences whilst actually being ‘in-flight’. The morning was then rounded off with a surprise live Q&A interview with Gok Wan.
The afternoon progressed with the audience being split into teams and given their own camera, props and clapperboards in order to direct, produce and film a company advert with ‘personality allowed’. These were then professionally edited by our onsite video team in time for an exclusive post-Awards dinner screening.
